Metropolitan courier service
UniMail co-ordinates a range of door to door metropolitan courier services.
- Premium rush with an average door-to-door time of 1.5-2.5 hours. The cut-off time is 2pm Mondays-Thursdays and 1pm Fridays.
- Premium same day with an average door to door time of 3-5 hours. The cut-off time is 2pm Mondays-Thursdays and 1pm Fridays.
- Overnight door-to-door service. The cut-off time is 3pm daily.

Country WA courier service
All courier items need to be at UniMail by 3pm for processing.
Most major towns, from Albany in the south, Kalgoorlie in the east and Carnarvon in the north, have an overnight air or road service. For small towns or those further afield it is best to speak to UniMail staff for advice on available services.

Interstate courier service
An overnight air interstate courier service is available to most inner suburbs of capital cities. Outer suburbs or regional areas cannot be guaranteed overnight. It is best to speak to UniMail staff for advice on available services. Note: deliveries to Canberra or Darwin cannot be guaranteed overnight
Interstate road courier service may be considerably cheaper (particularly for large or heavy items) but on average take four to seven days, depending on the location.

Overseas courier service
All courier items need to be at UniMail by 3pm for processing.
The overseas courier service is used when security and a signature as proof of delivery are required for a document or article. The courier service is quicker than airmail. If requested, UniMail will track and trace the consignment. For large or heavy items, we advise you to request a quote.
The declaration on the form must be completed for all articles other than printed matter under 500g when sending articles by overseas couriers. It is a criminal offence to give misleading information.
Articles other than printed matter must also be given a value in Australian currency, with the exception of articles being sent back to an overseas manufacturer for repairs, which should state the value in the currency of the overseas country.
Telephone and/or facsimile numbers of the proposed receiver of the article should be stated on the MDR-05 form:
Articles being sent back to an overseas manufacturer should be accompanied by a photocopy of the original import documents, warranty or purchase order. If this is not supplied, import and customs duties may be charged.

Inwards courier service
UniMail can arrange for the delivery of items from overseas and interstate locations back to UWA.
It should be noted that courier services from overseas are more expensive than sending from Australia.
