To facilitate urgent afternoon mail or courier items (for areas that don’t have an afternoon run) UniMail have arranged drop off points around the campus.
Simply take your mail or courier item to the closest location and place it in the yellow Urgent Afternoon Mail Bags and ensure that it has your own MBDP number attached to the item (if it’s in an envelope with a replay address including your Mailbag number is sufficient). UniMail will pick these urgent bags up at 2.00 each weekday and despatch external mail that afternoon.
If costs need to be charged to a specific project grant (other than the default for your MBDP) or there are specific mailing instructions please attach a:
MDR 04 for Local and Interstate Mail and Courier Form
or
MDR 05 for International Mail and Courier form.
If it’s a large urgent item give UniMail a call and they may be able to arrange a direct pick up.
